2011 Summer Mission Trip to Michigan

 

Mission Statement:

 
The youth ministry of NFUMC exists to create bold disciples in the youth of our church and the surrounding community through unconditional love, selfless service, meaningful prayer, and authentic worship.

Sunday Night Youth Group:

Join us on Sunday Nights from 5PM-7PM for an evening of food, games, fellowship, and a lesson about life as a Christian. This is a wonderful place for new church families with middle school and/or high school students to meet other youth from the community, and provides a safe place for youth to grow their faith and their relationships. Every first Sunday of the month parents are invited to join their teenagers for a potluck dinner from 5:00-5:30 and then have a small group time with other youth parents to discuss ways to help their teen's grow spiritually.

Wednesday Night Bible Studies:

Join a small group Bible study on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  There is a Junior High group and a Senior High group who meet to dig into God's word and discuss what it means to be a Christ-Follower.  This is a great chance to get to know a smaller group of friends.

Special events and trips:

There are opportunities to participate in a number of activities including Mission Sunday Service Projects, Warmth in Winter Youth Convention,Summer Sizzler Youth Convention, church lock-ins, Fall Relationship Retreat, camping, Christian concerts,Summer Mission Trips, and many other special events.
