Church Happenings in February

February has been a great month of ministry and missions along with some food, fellowship, and fun! Our Room In The Inn team hosted ten men twice in February, and we will wrap up the winter season with two additional nights in March.

We gathered around food to fellowship at the Youth Sweethearts Dinner, we our largest Second Sunday Breakfast in recent memory, and enjoyed together Mardi Gras/Fat/Shrove/Pancake Tuesday with pancake races and it was a big hit!

All of that led to the start of Lent and our Ash Wednesday worship where we gathered to consider our mortality and our need to turn back to God in a greater way. For those unable to come we offered a time to receive ashes on Sunday, too.

And we just rounded out the end of the month and the beginning of March with Kindness with Cookies. Dozens and dozens of cookies were brought (thank you!) and distributed by our Youth to our Nolensville Police, Fire, and EMS along with Traditions and our local school front offices. Together we can do amazing things for God and our community! Let the lion of March roar in with more in store!
