Worship at NFUMC

Children are welcome and encouraged to worship with us at NFUMC.  The young people of NFUMC serve in worship in many ways, including but not limited to singing, bringing in the light of Christ, and reading liturgy.

Nursery care is available for children up to age three and a half during worship and Sunday School.

Early Service: 8:30 am                            Following the children's message, kids up to 1st grade have the option to attend children's church for the remainder of this service.

Late Service: 10:40

Sunday School

Sunday School begins at 9:40 for preshool aged children and older.

Exciting things are happening in Children's Ministry!  Here at NFUMC, our goal is to provide a foundation of experiences on which children build a life of learning and growth toward a mature and vital faith.  See what we have coming up as we aim to grow everyday disciples of Jesus.

Beginning in April, children ages preschool-fifth grade are invited on the 4th Sunday of the month for fellowship, devotion and a service project. This will be an opportunity to learn about why and how we are called to serve others.

April 22nd we will make cards of encouragement for the families staying at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House. In addition to this hands on activity, children are encouraged to bring items from the Ronald McDonald House Wish List, including dry food pantry snack items and cleaning supplies. Cards and donations will go to the Ronald McDonald House along with the blankets made by NFUMC Youth.

*Parents of preschool aged children are encouraged to stay on-site with their children during Service Sundays.

2018 VBS will be July 15-18.  More info coming soon!
