NFUMC Kids

Exciting things are happening in Children's Ministry!  Here at NFUMC, our goal is to provide a foundation of experiences on which children build a life of learning and growth toward a mature and vital faith.  We would love to have you join us at NFUMC!

Worship at NFUMC

Children are welcomed and encouraged to worship with us at NFUMC.  The young people of NFUMC serve in worship in many ways including, but not limited to, singing, bringing in the light of Christ, and reading the liturgy.

Nursery care is available for children up to age three and a half during worship and Sunday School.

Early Service: 8:30am                       Following the children's message, kids up to 1st grade have the option to attend children's church for the remainder of this service.

Children's Praise: 9:45          Children up to 5th grade are invited to the sanctuary to learn scripture through song and worship.

Sunday School: 9:45-10:30

Late Service: 10:40am

NFUMC Kids packed 39 Gift A Gallon bags!  NFUMC Kids gathered together for Service Sunday and packed 39 bags for Raise the Roof Academy students in Uganda.  They learned about their culture, school, what makes us different, and what makes us the same. Jacob and Ryan led us in prayer for the students; that the bags would be a blessing to all who received them. We ended with pizza and play!

After all, you are only a child!  With God’s help, and through their desperate quest to keep the shelter open, these children realize they can really make a difference right where they live. Performances will be during both worship services on August 11.

August 25:  Light Bright Kick-Off Event

Sunday, August 25 at 12pm, 4th and 5th graders are invited to kickoff the new school year with fellowship and fun.  We’ll have lunch at the church at 12pm and then head out for an afternoon of bowling.  Please RSVP to Christina ASAP so reservations can be made at the bowling alley.  All children attending will need to have an off-site form completed.  Those may be found at http://welovewherewelive.org/children.
