Exciting things are happening in Children's Ministry!  Here at NFUMC, our goal is to provide a foundation of experiences on which children build a life of learning and growth toward a mature and vital faith.  We would love to have you join us at NFUMC!

Worship at NFUMC

Children are welcomed and encouraged to worship with us at NFUMC.  The young people of NFUMC serve in worship in many ways including, but not limited to, singing, bringing in the light of Christ, and reading the liturgy.

Nursery care is available for children up to age three and a half during worship and Sunday School.

Early Service: 8:30am                       Following the children's message, kids up to 1st grade have the option to attend children's church for the remainder of this service.

Children's Praise: 9:45          Children up to 5th grade are invited to the sanctuary to learn scripture through song and worship.

Sunday School: 9:45-10:30

Late Service: 10:40am

NFUMC Kids packed 39 Gift A Gallon bags!  NFUMC Kids gathered together for Service Sunday and packed 39 bags for Raise the Roof Academy students in Uganda.  They learned about their culture, school, what makes us different, and what makes us the same. Jacob and Ryan led us in prayer for the students; that the bags would be a blessing to all who received them. We ended with pizza and play!

"We are all the same because God loves us all"

Children's Praise and Sunday School
It's never too late for your children to join us during the Sunday School hour. Children's Praise takes place in the sanctuary at 9:45 every Sunday EXCEPT second Sundays. Staff and teachers will walk them to their Sunday School classes at 10am and then parent pickup is at 10:35. On second Sundays, please escort your children directly to Sunday School following breakfast.
We welcomed NFUMC's 4th graders to the Light Brights with pizza and bowling. They were all smiles at the bowling alley and full of songs on the bus ride. These kiddos are going to big things for the kingdom of God this year! A special thank you to Ms. Ginger, Mr. Martin and Pastor Jimmy for being chaperones on this fun trip.
