Sunday School

 

Needing direction in your life?  Join us in Sunday School and locate God's map through scripture.  Sunday School classes meet from 9:40 a.m. - 10:35 a.m.  All ages are welcome!

         

 
Nursery for infants through 2-years-old is available during Sunday School and both worship services. 
 

Children

These classes use the Faithweaver curriculum which combines Bible story, crafts, music and games. All classes meet in the Education Wing
     3- and 4- Year Olds (Room 2)
     Pre-K - Kindergarten (Room 3)
     1st Grade (Room 4)
     2nd - 4th Grade (Room 5)
     5th - 6th Grade (Room 6)

Youth

Junior and Senior High School classes learn about Christian values by gaining insight in how to apply Biblical teaching to their everyday lives.  Teachers are currently using the Faithweaver curriculum. Both classes meet in the Youth Area.
     7th - 8th Grade (Room 12)
     9th - 12th Grade (Youth Area)

Adults

Believers Class:

Comprised of married couples and singles, most of them have children.  The age ranges from the early 30's to the late 40's.  It is an open-minded and energetic class whose studies are scriptural based and diverse with rotating teachers every quarter. The Believers meet in Room 5 off the Youth Area.

Good News Class

Began in 1960 with three members.  The members cover a wide span of ages from the 40's to the 80's.  All members are active in church functions and committees.  The class uses the International Lesson Series. Good News meets in Room 7 in the Educational Wing.

Emmaus Class: 

Currently uses the Life Values Series from LifeWay. The class is not intended to be age-based and has an emphasis on reaching both church members and non-church members for Bible study.  Presently, the ages range from young adult to 63.  There are couples and singles in the class and meet in the New Fellowship Hall. 

Fellowship Class

Comprised of married couples and singles with children that range in age from infant to adult.  This class has an active membership in both the church and its mission.  This class provides a laid back approach to learning the Bible and opportunity to discuss openly views of scripture. Fellowship meets in Room 2 off of the Youth Area.

Seekers Class

Composed of older men that rotate the teaching job so that each member teaches for two Sundays.  The class uses Cokesbury's International Lessons and discuss religious issues.  The class was organized in the 1950's and has always been a strong supporter of the projects and goals of the church. Seekers meet in Room 9 off of the Youth Area.

Spanish Language Class

Bible Study conducted all in Spanish. El estudio de la biblia en español se encuentra en la habitación 10 en el área juventud.

Journey Class

Composed of college-ages through twenty-somethings and into thirty-somethings. Study topics vary according to the interest of the class, but are currently studying world religions. Journey meets in Room 1 off of the Youth Area.
