Sunday School

 

Needing direction in your life?  Join us in Sunday School and locate God's map through scripture.  Sunday School classes meet from 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.  All are welcome!

 CHILDREN'S CLASSES

     
     Nursery - available during Sunday School and both worship services.
 

     These classes use Cokesbury's Faithweaver curriculum which combines Bible story, crafts, music and games.   

               Pre-School
               Pre-K - Kindergarten 
               1st - 2nd grade
               3rd -4th grade
               5th - 6th grade 

YOUTH CLASSES

 

Middle and High School classes learn about Christian values by gainng insight in how to apply biblical teaching to their everyday lives.  Teachers use a variety of teaching materials to facilitate the young person's learning experience.

                         7th - 8th grade

                         9th - 12th grade

 

ADULT CLASSES

     Believers Class

Comprised of married couples and singles, most of them have children.  The age ranges from the early 30's to the late 40's.  It is an open-minded and energetic class who's studies are scriptural based and diverse with rotating teachers every quarter.

     Good News Class

Began in 1960 with three members.  The members cover a wide span of ages from the 40's to the 80's.  All members are active in church functions and committees.  The class uses the International Lesson Series.

     Emmaus Class

Currently uses the Life Values Series from LifeWay. The class is not intended to be age based and has an emphasis on reaching both church members and non-church members for Bible study.  Presently, the ages range from young adult to 63.  There are couples and singles in the class and meet in the New Fellowship Hall.

     Fellowship Class

          
Comprised of married couples and singles with children that range in age from infant to adult.  This class has an active membership in both the church and it's misison.  This class provides a laid back approach to learning the Bible and opportunity to discuss openly views of scripture.

     Seekers Class

Composed of older men that rotate the teaching job so that each member teaches for two Sundays.  The class uses Cokesbury's International Lessons and discuss religious issues.  The class was organized in the 1950's and has always been a strong supporter of the projects and goals of the church.
