Camp Cedar Crest

Camp Cedar Crest is a residential summer camp run by the Tennessee Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. We encourage all children to attend each summer. Details and more information can be found here. Children of professing members of Nolensville First UMC are eligible for financial aid to attend Camp Cedar Crest. Please fill out this form and return it to Mari Cathey, or place it in the drop box outside the front office.

The Shining Stars

Children from nursery through 4th grade will be having fun and learning to love God and serve others.

The Lite Brights

Children in 5th and 6th grades will delve deeper into ways of loving and worshiping God and learning to identify ministry gifts and opportunities.

Volunteers Needed for Lite Brights

Attention ALL NFUMC members: A vital group from our church is need of YOUR help and support. Our Lite Brights, aka 5th and 6th graders, need volunteers to help guide them from childhood into youth and beyond. We are looking for people willing to help these children experience God, develop great relationships, and to just have a great time. Please consider offering your home (examples: pool parties, card/game nights, fall bonfire, touch football games, movie nights) OR your time (examples: driving the bus, providing a devotional, being a chaperon as we travel to missions/fellowship opportunities). Our goal is to meet once a month during the school year. You can volunteer as an individual, a couple, a family, a small group, a Sunday school class, or as congregation, we're open to any and all ideas. Staff members and parents are willing to chaperon and will ALWAYS be present during events. If you feel called to help with this wonderful ministry, please email Mari Cathey.
